GIT'SKA (RONALD E. WILSON)

 

Born: June 4, 1945

Gitsga is the first nephew of Chief Cumshewa and as such will be the next Chief of the Eagle Clan of Cumshewa.

Crests: Cormorant, "T" formed by the raised part on a copper, Frog, Halibut, Hummingbird, Beaver, Hawk, Eagle, Martin Skin Hat Carvings in gold, silver, argillite, wood, ivory, orgiginal paintings

He spent four years at the Vancouver School of Art from 1966 to 1969.

He spent one and a half years at Thunder Bird Park training in wood carving with Henry Hunt Sr.

He sold his first piece of art work in 1962 and continues to sell his work through numerous private sales and commissions throughout the world.
